Terms of service

Welcome. These Terms govern your use of tadapwear.com and the products you buy from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who can buy

You must be 18 years or older and legally capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. We currently ship only within India.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure. You're responsible for all activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and email us. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

3. Pricing & availability

• All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of 18% GST unless explicitly stated.
• We try to keep prices accurate, but mispricing happens. If an order is mispriced, we'll contact you before processing — you can either accept the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
• Stock is updated in real time but can briefly desync. If an item sells out after you ordered, we'll refund that item within 5 working days and ship the rest.
• Sale and promotional prices apply for the period advertised and cannot be combined unless stated.

4. Orders & contracts

When you place an order, you make us an offer to buy. The order is accepted only when we email you the order confirmation and your payment clears. Until then, we can refuse the order — for example, if we suspect fraud, if the address is undeliverable, or if we ran out of stock.

5. Payment

• We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, EMI, wallets, and Cash on Delivery (orders above ₹500, with a ₹50 COD handling charge).
• Online payments are processed by Razorpay (PCI-DSS Level 1). We never store full card details.
• For COD, please keep exact change. The delivery partner is not obliged to provide change.
• Failed COD attempts: if you refuse delivery without intimation, we may bar future COD orders from that address.

See our Shipping Policy for full details. Briefly: free shipping above ₹999, express delivery for ₹99 extra, discreet matte-black packaging always.

7. Returns & exchanges

For hygiene reasons, lingerie and swimwear are non-returnable. Dresses and nightwear are exchangeable within 7 days if tags are on, garment is unworn and unwashed. Full details in Returns Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the site — designs, photographs, copy, the brand mark "Tadap Wear", the tagline "Woh tadap jo dikh jaaye", patterns — is owned by Tadap Wear Pvt. Ltd. or our licensors. You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or use our content for AI training without written permission.

9. User content

When you post a review, photo or comment, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use it on our site, social channels, and marketing materials. We may edit reviews for clarity but never to misrepresent your opinion. Reviews must be genuine and based on actual purchases — fake reviews lead to immediate account termination.

10. Prohibited use

• No bulk-purchasing for resale without our wholesale agreement.
• No scraping the site or our APIs.
• No attempts to bypass security or rate limits.
• No using the site to harass our team or customers.
• No counterfeit returns or reverse fraud (ordering, swapping, returning).

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or our products is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost opportunities, emotional distress, etc.).

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be attempted to resolve via our grievance officer (see Privacy Policy). Unresolved disputes go to arbitration in Mumbai under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, with English as the language. Courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction over any non-arbitrable matter.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to registered customers 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
